Let's wash our hands!

How many times a day do you wash your hands?  You want clean hands but you don't want icky ingredients.  Look at the ingredients on your hand soap.  I have two different brands.  See if you can identify which one is the Foaming Hand Soap from Perfectly Posh.

Hand Soap A:
Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Cocamide MEA, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Polyquaternium-7, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Red 33, Blue1

Hand Soap B:
Water, Decyl Glucoside, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Phytate, Polyquaternium-7, Citric Acid, Red 40, Red 33, Blue 1

Let us take a closer look at some of the ingredients.  Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) are inexpensive foaming agents and known skin irritants.  PEG's can be used on healthy skin, but should not be used on damaged skin.  Ethylhexylglycerin is a conditioning agent and preservative.  A couple studies do show it as another skin irritant.  Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice helps dry and damaged skin. It is also an antioxidant.

My son is a habitual hand washer.  He was using soap A.  But he had a rash on the tops of his hands that would not go away.  He finally switched to the Foaming Hand Soap from Perfectly Posh.  The rash cleared up in a few days and has not returned.  This is the main reason why soap A is under the sink and soap B is at every sink in the house.

The Foaming Hand Soap is available in Lei Away, Maha Satori, and Sassyooma.  I love the Sassyooma.

Got Acne?

Got Acne?  I do.  I have tried pretty much everything I could get my hands on.  LOL  Then I tried the Stripper and the Gender Bender Chunk.

The Stripper is a detox body mud.  It contains kaolin.  Kaolin is a naturally occurring clay mineral used for its ability to be highly absorbent.

I tried the Stripper first on my face.  Love the smell.  I did experience the tingly feeling for a minute or two.  After wiping it off, I was shocked to see the blackheads on my nose almost gone.  The few that the Stripper did not remove were lightened.

The Gender Bender Chunk is a black soap.  It contains charcoal powder.  Charcoal powder is an efficient way to absorb free radicals.  It also contains silt.  Silt's absorbent nature helps it function to reduce excess surface oil and aids in the prevention of the occurrence of acne.  But this amazing soap does not dry out your skin because it also contains shea butter.

I now use the Gender Bender Chunk every time I wash my face.  I credit these two products for having clear skin for the first time since puberty.

Lemon Rice Slather

Hi!

Have you heard about Perfectly Posh?  I have.  LOL  Have you tried the Lemon Rice Slather?  It is my favorite.  I can't walk by it without at least opening it up and smelling it.

The eczema on my hand has not reappeared.  It was last seen in January/February.  Must be the absence of parabens, paraffins, sodium lauryl sulfate, gluten, or phthalates.

The Lemon Rice Slather is a heady, calming whipped shea butter with a rich lemon, coconut, and rice milk fragrance.  In other words - It smells good!

You get 7.5 ounces for $17.  It is worth every penny.  Visit www.perfectlyposh.us/enjoyposh to purchase or to look at all the products.
